Bank BRISyariah (later called by the name BRISyariah) on 17 November 2008.
BRI Syariah name was chosen to illustrate the direct relationship with Bank. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, hereinafter called the Bank Rakyat Indonesia, which is one terbsesar bank in Indonesia. BRI Syariah is a subsidiary of Bank Rakyat Indonesia, which will serve the banking needs masyarakant Indonesia by using principles of sharia.
On December 19, 2008, had signed the deed of separation sharia business unit. The signing of the deed of separation had been made by Bp. Sofyan Basir as Director of Bank Rakyat Indonesia and Bp. Rahardjo Ventje BRISyariah as Managing Director, as the deed of separation Avg. 27 dated December 19, 2008 was made before a notary Fathiah Helmi SH in Jakarta.
Consolidation of business units of Bank Rakyat Indonesia Sharia into BRISyariah became effective on January 1, 2009.

Responsibilities:
- Melayani transaksi tunai simpanan, pembiayan, dan lainnya.
- Mendistribusikan tanda setoran lembar ke 1 (satu) untuk lampiran DMH
- Meneliti kebenaran tanggal, no rekening, nama nasabah, jumlah uang dan memeriksa kebenaran tanda tangan pada slip penarikan/cek.
- Menyimpan KCTT pada tempat yang terkunci.
- Mencatat sisa kas yang disetor pada register 16 (Perincian Kas)
- Melaksanakan verifikasi awal pada voucher dan DMH

- Pria/Wanita.
- Pendidikan min, D3 dari semua fakultas/jurusan.
- Lulusan Perguruan Tinggi Negeri/Swasta dengan status terakreditasi dari Badan Akreditasi Nasional (BAN) dengan peringkat A atau B.

- Memberikan informasi kepada nasabah/calon nasabah mengenai produk Syariah BRI guna menunjang pemasaran produk Syariah BRI.
- Memberikan informasi saldo simpanan, transfer maupun pembiayaan bagi nasabah yang memerlukan guna memberikan pelayanan yang memuaskan bagi nasabah.
- Menerima dan menginventarisir keluhan-keluhan nasabah untuk diteruskan kepada pejabat yang berwenang guna memberikan pelayanan yang memuaskan kepada nasabah.
